CHANDIGARH: A lady supposedly killed her six-year-old child today with a blade in Punjab's Bathinda locale, police said today.

The charged purportedly assaulted her lone child with a blade while giving him a shower at home in Bhai Mati Dass Nagar, said Bathinda Station House Officer (Civil Lines) Rashpal Singh.

The kid endured wounds in chest and midriff and passed on the recognize, the SHO said.

Police said they were yet to learn the explanation for the assault and the issue was being examined.
