Students sweat in Sialkot's 1 degree centigrade heat and fear that the roof of their school's Galla Mandi primary school will collapse again.
About 200 students are enrolled in public schools.
"We asked our teacher to keep the class out because there was a classroom roof over the summer vacation," said one student. "We are scared because there is a threat of another roof collapse," they said.
"We are forced to sit where there is no outside curtain and passers-by look at us all the time," said another student. Children said that there was continuous noise from the pedestal so they could not concentrate on their studies.
The Punjab School Education Department was notified about the poor infrastructure of the school. An official said the work on rebuilding the school will begin soon.
